SEND Policy
Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Policy

Welcome to Marsden Infant and Nursery School’s SEND Information Report. At our school, we believe every child deserves a happy, secure, and inspiring start to their educational journey, ensuring they have the support needed to fully belong, learn, and thrive. We recognize that some children may require extra help or tailored approaches during their time with us, and we work hand-in-hand with parents, carers, and external specialists to identify and meet those needs early. The report below outlines how we actively adapt our environment, deliver high-quality inclusive teaching, and provide targeted interventions to support our youngest learners. If you have any questions or would like to discuss your child’s unique needs, please do not hesitate to reach out directly to our Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENDCo).
Our SENDCo is Mrs Sarah Whitehouse.
If you wish to speak directly to our SENDCo please contact the main school office and ask to speak to Sarah Whitehouse on 01484 845124 or email the school office FAO Mrs Sarah Whitehouse on office@marsdeniandnschool.co.uk
